THE PREP zone

Your drip doesn’t just start in the chair — it starts here.

Think of this as your pre-drip briefing.

The smarter you prep, the better your drip works — simple as that. Your session doesn’t just start when the needle goes in; it starts with how you fuel, hydrate, and set yourself up before you even walk through the door.

From hydration hacks to what to eat before you plug in, this is your one-stop playbook to maximise results. We’ll keep it straight: just the essentials that make the difference between “feeling okay” and feeling unstoppable.

Show up prepared, and you’ll recover harder, focus sharper, and walk out stronger than you came in.

Before you arrive

Getting ready starts before you even step into the clinic.

  • Confirm your booking
Hit the link in your email or text so we know you’re locked in. This keeps the schedule tight and your slot secure.

  • Complete your Glowday forms
Your forms cover your medical history, current health, and treatment goals. Filling these in early means your practitioner has a clear game plan from the moment you arrive — no wasted time, just straight into action.

  • Set your intention
Whether you’re here to recover faster, sharpen your focus, or boost energy, know your aim. Your practitioner will tailor advice and aftercare around what you want most.

GENERAL TIPS

A woman practicing yoga indoors on a black yoga mat, sitting in a meditative pose with her legs crossed and hands resting on her knees, wearing a black sports bra and shorts, with her eyes closed and hair in a bun, against a plain white wall.

These are the small tweaks that make a big difference:

  • Hydrate → Come in well-hydrated. This helps with vein access and boosts nutrient absorption.

  • Fuel smart → Eat a warm meal 1–2 hrs before. This activates your “rest and digest” mode, opening up blood vessels so nutrients hit deeper. Don’t arrive fasted.

  • Sleep counts → A solid night’s rest improves your body’s ability to absorb and use what we’re giving it.

  • Dress to relax → Comfy clothes are key. Bring a book, headphones, or just switch off — this is your reset time.

NAD+ Specific Guidance

NAD+ is in a league of its own, so the prep is too:

  • Time commitment → 250mg = allow 1 Hr 45 Mins. 500mg = allow 3.5 hrs. This includes your consult and infusion delivery.

  • Food matters → Avoid heavy, greasy, or sugary meals beforehand. They blunt the therapy’s benefits and make absorption less efficient.

  • Breaks + fluids → The infusion can be paused for comfort breaks. Water, tea, and coffee are on us — keep sipping to stay comfortable.

What to Expect in Clinic

A neon sign that reads 'REVISE IV THERAPY' with a location marker symbol above the word 'REVISE', mounted on a green leafy wall. A coat rack stand is in front of the wall.

Here’s how your session will play out step by step:

  1. Arrival + check-in
You’ll be greeted by your practitioner. The first 15 minutes are for reviewing your forms, checking your vitals, and making sure you’re good to go.

  2. Needle placement
A small butterfly needle will be placed in a suitable vein. Quick, sharp pinch — and done.

  3. Settle into the lounge
Once your line is in, you’ll move into the Revive lounge. Your infusion is hooked up and set to the optimal rate for your comfort and safety.

  4. Monitored throughout
A medical professional will be with you the entire time. If you feel anything unusual, flag it immediately — we’ve got you covered.

  5. Your time, your reset
Relax, hydrate, listen to music, scroll, or nap. This is your downtime while the drip does its work.

  6. Wrap-up + aftercare
When your infusion finishes, your practitioner will give you any tailored aftercare advice before you leave.
